Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. Holds can be picked up through Thu, Jan 8 at Cinco Ranch Branch. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch. 

Beginning Fri, Jan 9, until the re-opening of the Cinco Ranch Branch building, all items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch on Jan 9 to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Will Parker is a children's songwriter and teaching artist who writes and performs music for "kids ages 1-100." During Will's whimsical and interactive shows, he plays guitar and harmonica and sings original songs that engage the audience in singing-along, dancing, high-fiving, and imaginative play. The kids even help Will create an improvised song through their suggestions and input on what should happen next in the impromptu story. Will also engages the kids in conversation about how every person can be creative and that writing a song is something they can do too. The kids learn that songs are a great way to tell stories--their own stories too! ​This program is made possible thanks to the Friends of the First Colony Branch Library.
