Cinco Ranch Branch Library will RE-OPEN on Monday, March 9. 

Cinco Ranch Branch patrons with hold items available for pickup on or before March 6, 2026, currently being held at the Fulshear Branch Library, should visit the Fulshear Branch to pick up those items. If another location is more convenient, please contact the Fulshear Branch Library to have your items rerouted to your preferred pickup location.

 
Any hold requests filled after March 6 will be held at the Cinco Ranch Branch and will be available during its open hours. The pickup location will be indicated on your hold notification.

Description

Experience the magic of live opera with Opera to Go!, a touring program from Houston Grand Opera that brings high-energy, fully staged performances to schools, libraries, and community spaces. Designed to introduce young audiences, families, and seniors to the world of opera, this unique production blends storytelling, music, and theater to create an engaging and unforgettable experience.

This season, Opera to Go! presents Mo Willems’ Bite-Sized Operas, a delightful double-bill featuring Slopera! and Don’t Let the Pigeon Sing Up Late!, composed by Carlos Simon with librettos by Mo Willems. Performed in bilingual English/Spanish, this vibrant show comes to life with colorful costumes, portable sets, and captivating performances that bring opera to audiences in a fun and accessible way.

Program Details:
🔹 Recommended for grades K-5.
🔹 No late admittance—please arrive on time, as space is limited.
🔹 Tickets are required for entry and will be handed out starting 1 hour before showtime.
🔹 Due to limited space, we are unable to accommodate daycare groups.
