Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building.

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will CLOSE at 5:00 pm Wed, Dec 24, and will be CLOSED from Thu, Dec 25 through Sun, Dec 28, 2025, for Christmas.

We will cover the various types of information that can be found in newspapers and how they can fill in gaps in your family history. We will also discuss how to find newspapers and get access to them and cover the Newspaper Archive and Chronicling America databases.
