Closure

All Fort Bend County Libraries' locations will be closed Nov 27-30 for Thanksgiving. All libraries will close early at 5 pm, on Wed, Nov 26. 

Reminder:

The fine-free period will end on Sunday, November 30. Library cards with $5+ fines and fees will be blocked from checkout.

Before many other records were kept by the states, probate records existed. We will review the information that can be obtained in probate records, such as family members and relationships, dates of death, descriptions of the estate, and more. Learn how to search for and obtain these records online as well as offline.
