The Mission Bend Branch Library is currently closed for repairs. Currently held items may be picked up at the front door by calling 832-471-5900 when you arrive at the library. When you call, have your barcode ready to give to staff. Staff will meet you at the front door with your items. Please have your library card and/or photo ID ready to show staff. Dive into the world of henna in this hands-on, interactive experience. From mixing your own bowl of 100% organic henna paste to exploring step-by-step instructions for creating three simple designs, you'll uncover the beauty and tradition behind this ancient art form. Blending art, history, chemistry, and even a bit of cooking, this workshop will leave you with: 

  • A natural, homemade henna recipe 

  • Tips and tricks for drawing beautiful designs 

  • Take-home henna to enjoy and experiment with for weeks to come 

Registration is required. A signed liability waiver is required for participation.
