Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Helai Hasanzada, owner of Dunya Boutique, will discuss sustainable fashion and how she and other like-minded stores are supporting sustinability.  She'll discuss:

  • What does "sustainable fashion" mean? What are the effects on our earth as well as humanity?
  • What is the importance of shopping slow fashion?
  • Benefits of slow fashion for the customers
  • Negative effects of fast fashion.
  • What is fairtrade, and what the working conditions of garment makers in non-fairtrade factors
