Delay Opening Alert

The George Memorial Library in Richmond and the Library Administration Building will open at 12 pm on Mon, Feb 9, because there will be no water in the buildings. Notary services will also be unavailable during this time.

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Get ready to launch into holiday fun with our Cookie Catapults workshop! 🎄🎅
Kids ages 8-12 will design and build their own mini catapults to fling “snowballs” into Santa’s cookie jar.
 
Through this festive hands-on activity, they’ll explore physics, force, and motion while competing in a friendly challenge to see whose catapult launches the farthest. It’s the perfect mix of STEM learning and Christmas cheer.

All materials are provided. Bring your friends and get ready to create something cool!

Registration is preferred and will open on November 24 at 10am.
