Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building.

Holiday:

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will CLOSE at 5:00 pm Wed, Dec 24, and will be CLOSED from Thu, Dec 25 through Sun, Dec 28, 2025, for Christmas. 

All Fort Bend County Libraries locations will CLOSE at 5:00 pm Wed, Dec 31, and will be CLOSED Thu, Jan 1, 2026, for the New Year's Holiday. 

 

Chess Day at Cinco Ranch

Description

Players of all ages and skill levels are invited to practice their strategies while playing against others in a relaxed stress-free environment. 

This is a drop-in opportunity to have fun and maybe learn a new chess move or two. Since a limited number of chess sets will be provided, the public is welcome/ encouraged to bring their own. 

This program is intended for people ages 7 and older. 

Registration is not required, but space is limited.
