All libraries, except Cinco Ranch Branch, will be OPEN normal hours on Saturday, January 24. On Sunday, January 25, George Memorial Library in Richmond (8 am – 5 pm), and Sienna Branch Library (1 pm – 5 pm) will be open as WARMING CENTERS ONLY. Library services will not be available on Sunday. Check back for updates. 

CLOSING

Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be CLOSED for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Take a peek behind the curtain of the college admissions process and explore how colleges build their freshman class with William Keaton, Director of College Readiness for Yes Prep Schools. 

Seniors will learn about understanding grants, loans, and other types of aid, Can get set to complete FAFSA and TASFA applications step-by-step, and Learn about the CSS Profile. Underclassmen will learn how to gain early awareness of financial aid basics, estimate how much financial aid they qualify for, expectations for paying for college, and start thinking about scholarship preparation and saving.

Families will learn what steps they need to take in applying for Financial Aid, key financial aid terms and vocabulary, and learn strategies to maximize financial aid and scholarships.

This program is for students and parents of students in grades 9 through 12.
