Description

This class is designed to give you a taste of Brazilian Zouk a dance known for its rhythmic patterns, smooth basic steps, and adaptability to various styles of music including hip-hop, R & B, pop, and contemporary! Learn Zouk fundamentals including: the Zouk basic step, lateral, and more; how to create and maintain a good body frame, stepping to the beat, connecting with your partner, and respecting boundaries. Songs will be played after each new technique for practice. 

This is an open class - each session in the two part series will cover the fundamentals plus a new cool move! Attend either one or both sessions as you please.

Beginners welcome! No partner or experience required. Dance partners will be rotated.
