Cinco Ranch Branch Library is currently CLOSED for carpet replacement and will RE-OPEN on Monday, March 9. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch Branch. VOTING WILL take place at Cinco Ranch Branch. 

All items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch Branch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Description

Dr. Stephen Klineberg, former professor of Rice University, will present his book, “Prophetic City: Houston on the Cusp of a Changing America.”  It is based on over 40 years of research about the development of Houston derived from surveys given by the Kinder institute of Urban Research.  His book is also the 2022 pick as the Fort Bend County Libraries Community Read.  There will be a Q&A session following.
