In honor of Black History Month, the Joy of Djembe Drumming Ensemble will be performing West African djembe drumming. Led by Jebada Powell, the Joy of Djembe Drumming Ensemble is a group of Houston musicians who strive to share the joy of music. This program is made possible by the generous support of the Friends of First Colony Branch Library.
