Cinco Ranch Branch Library will be closed for several weeks starting Mon, Jan 12, because we are replacing carpet throughout the building. Holds can be picked up through Thu, Jan 8 at Cinco Ranch Branch. The outdoor book drop will remain OPEN during the time the building is closed, and library items may be returned at Cinco Ranch

Beginning Fri, Jan 9, until the re-opening of the Cinco Ranch Branch building, all items that were requested to be held at Cinco Ranch should be picked up at Fulshear Branch library. If another location is more convenient for you, please contact Fulshear Branch on Jan 9 to reroute the items to your preferred location.

Join us for this special presentation in honor of the 100th anniversary of Black History Month, featuring a local published author! 

 Meet the author Ms. Alexie Jones, born a raised in Houston, TX. She has 10+ years within the educational system, and 5+ years of experience in Early Childhood as a Preschool teacher and Kindergarten Paraprofessional/Inclusion aide.  

Join us as Alexie discusses her journey as a newly found author and early childhood teacher with professional development training in Early Childhood Education & Development through Texas School Ready, as well as Texas A& M training programs for caregivers.    

Learn what inspired her to write and develop the children’s book, The Kindness Kingdom: A Tale of Caring and Sharing, centered around caring and sharing; based on her experience within the preschool classroom setting.
