It’s time to clean out the craft closet!  If you’re a crafter or artist who needs to reduce your stash or someone who is looking for a new craft hobby, join us for our arts & craft supply swap. 

Donate your unwanted arts & crafts supplies April 28 - May 15 and receive special early access to the swap (10-11 AM).  If you don’t have anything to donate, you can still claim free supplies from 11 am - 2 pm.

We will accept almost any art or craft supply: yarn, stickers, craft paper, buttons, fabric, brushes, canvases, knitting needles, crochet hooks, pens, markers, stamps, beads, scrapbooking materials, unused craft kits, coloring books, and more!  Please do not bring any spray paints or spray enamels. Donated items should be in good, usable condition.  Any unclaimed items will be used in library programs or donated elsewhere.  Bring craft donations to the 2nd floor reference desk or to our weekly Craft Squad Socials (Fridays, 2-4 PM).

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
