Description

Join us for an in-depth discussion on Japanese War Brides, one of the central themes of the Fort Bend Community Picks Read, "The Turtle House" by Amanda Churchill.  In this 30-minute presentation, the history, experiences, and lives of Japanese war brides will be discussed, as well as the cultural impact they had on the US.  Daniel Sample, the head of the  Fort Bend County Libraries Genealogy Department will present.
