Description
Participants will be introduced to watercolor pencils and basic color theory, including an exploration of the color wheel, primary and secondary colors, and complementary colors. The workshop focuses on creating compositions based on traditional subjects like portraits, landscapes, and still life. Participants will learn two techniques, graphite transfer and grid technique, to help develop and refine their compositions. This program is geared for youth in grades 4-8; Space is limited. This program is made possible thanks to the Friends of the First Colony Branch Library. No registration required, but space is limited. Free tickets will be available one hour before the program.
