This hands-on event, developed by the Children’s Museum Houston, focuses on improving literacy through games, puzzles, and crafts.

Join us for an in-person program where we learn about various reptiles. First Colony's very own staff member, Mrs. Meghan, will share fun facts about snakes, bearded dragons, tegu lizards, tarantulas, and geckos.

Did you know the library has a 3D printer? Children in 3rd through 8th grade are invited to learn about how to find and create a basic design, and what is needed to 3D print here at Sienna Branch Library.

Introduction to typing for 3rd through 8th grade students.

Join us for a special After School Break to create a brightly colored, mix textured pieces of art using recycled supplies. For children in grades K-5. This is a short in-person program held in the meeting room at the Sienna Branch Library.

Puppets and songs for the entire family.

Create a unique watercolor bookmark based on a demonstration, or create your own using simple supplies. In-person event for grades 4-8 at the Sienna Branch Library.

Join us for an afternoon of games and family fun at the library.  We will have a variety of card games, board games, and puzzles ready to play.  All ages are welcome!

Do you love to draw? Drop in and draw your own comic strip! For students in grades 3-8.

Saint Patrick’s Day is known as the holiday of luck! Join us to create lucky holiday wreaths and to-go activities dedicated to this green holiday! For students in grades K-5 only.          

Love rockets?  Come make your very own origami and toilet paper roll rocket!  We will go over creating a miniature rocket, and then participants can make them fly through the air, all with the help of a straw.
