Arts & Crafts Supply and Costume Swap

It’s time to clean out the craft closet and old costumes!  If you’re a crafter or artist who needs to reduce your stash, someone who is looking for a new craft hobby, or looking for a new costume to replace an outgrown one, join us for our arts & craft supply and costume swap.

Donate your unwanted arts & crafts supplies and any gently used and bagged costumes any time before Oct. 1 and receive special early access to the swap (10-11 am).  If you don’t have anything to donate, you can still claim free items from 11 am - 2 pm.

We will accept almost any art or craft supply: yarn, stickers, buttons, fabric, unopened paint, brushes, knitting needles, crochet hooks, pens, markers, stamps, beads, scrapbooking materials, unused craft kits, coloring books, and more!  Donated items should be in good, usable condition.  Any unclaimed items will be used in library programs or donated elsewhere. 

For any costumes you wish to donate, please make sure the costume is in good condition with no tears or stains and please bring all accessories for the costume in a bag that we will keep.

Bring all donations to the 2nd floor reference desk.
