Alert: Sienna Branch Library

The Sienna Branch Library will be CLOSED on Sunday, September 7, for a scheduled power outage by CenterPoint Energy. 

UPDATE: September 2, 2025

Network services will gradually be restored this week -- starting with the online catalog, account access, Internet, self-check stations, and computer use on Tue, Sep 2. 
Other services –- such as printing -- will resume availability soon. WiFi access continues to be available.

Description

Twilight, by Stephanie Meyers, was published 20 years ago!  Celebrate the occasion with a screening of the first Twilight movie, followed by brief discussion and friendly debates for true Twi-hard fans.  One lucky patron will leave with a bedazzled copy of Twilight, perfect for displaying on your bookshelf.  This program is generously sponsored by the Friends of University Branch Library. 

Park inside the gated lot (VISITOR LOT 4).  Bring your parking ticket with you inside the library to be validated by library staff.  Parking is FREE if you get your ticket validated.  Parking outside the gated lot may result in a parking violation from the University of Houston.
