Sugar Land Branch Library to Celebrate 25th Anniversary

In celebration of its 25th Anniversary, Fort Bend County Libraries’ Sugar Land Branch Library will host an Open House on Saturday, August 31, from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, in the Meeting Room of the library.
In addition to light refreshments and crafts, the public is invited to participate in a community-art project during the event by painting or coloring individual pieces of a library mural. After the event, the individual pieces will be reassembled to complete a mural, which will be on display in the lobby of the library through the end of the year.

Mission Bend Branch Library Grand Opening - February 9 • 10:00 am

The grand-opening ceremony of Fort Bend County Libraries’ Mission Bend Branch Library will take place on Saturday, February 9, beginning at 10:00 am, at the new library, located at 8421 Addicks Clodine Road in Houston.
The grand opening will be officiated by Fort Bend County Precinct 2 Commissioner Grady Prestage, who will be joined by other county and local officials. All area residents are invited to come out and take part in the grand-opening reception.
